Hi, I was wondering if anybody new anything to make a sled great on the water but still easly be able to turn it back for on the snow when winter comes. I bought a old beat up 1999 summit x 670 and fixed it up basically for the water but want to keep it for the odd times in the winter to when i dont want to take the better sled. It is a very low budget machine. We got rid of about 50 lbs of weight loosing items like the headlight and we sealed it up completly. I been on the water with old sleds a few times befor eand i know the chassis is goood for it and the engine got enough power but some reason it seems to bog down and can't say up on plane for long. I believe its due to the 1/75 lug and the little room it leaves up in the tunnel. If anyone knows if this would be it let me knowor if there are anything else it could be. Also has anyone had any expierience dropping down the suspension in front and back because i think this would make more room in th etunnel and help it cause i know that 1.75 lug may be a bit big for the water but it dosen't really cause a problem with the newer sled that have tons of room up there with it. If you guys no anything else let me no to help is always good. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
